1. Description of Service

TheDocMaker provides an online PDF-to-Word (DOCX) conversion service. Users may upload PDF documents which are processed on our servers and returned as editable Word files. Up to 5 pages may be converted free of charge; larger documents require a paid package.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Upload files that violate copyright, privacy, or any applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or abuse the Service
• Use automated tools to make excessive requests to the Service

3. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed securely through Ziina. Prices are displayed in AED (UAE Dirham) and are based on the page count of your document as automatically detected by the Service.

Due to the nature of digital goods, refunds are generally not provided once a conversion has been completed and the file made available for download. If you experience a technical failure and did not receive your converted file, please contact us at support@thedocmaker.com.

4. File Retention

Uploaded PDF files and converted DOCX files are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour of conversion completion. We do not retain your documents beyond this window. You are responsible for downloading your converted file within that period.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that converted documents will be a perfect replica of the original PDF in all cases, particularly for complex layouts, scanned images, or unusual fonts. OCR accuracy may vary.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheDocMaker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including data loss or inaccuracies in converted documents.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of any files you upload. By uploading a file you grant us a temporary, limited license solely to process and convert the file as part of the Service. This license expires when your files are deleted from our servers.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
